The Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Education approved multiple fiscal and labor items, including a meet-and-confer summary for the Elk Grove Team for Education Administrative Management and Support and the district's proposed 2025-26 budget.
Labor representative Mr. Riley presented the meet-and-confer summary covering total compensation for unrepresented employees for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years and noted that AB 1200 fiscal-review requirements for negotiated agreements do not apply to unrepresented employee meet-and-confer summaries; the AB 1200 report was attached and will be submitted to the Sacramento County Office of Education for review prior to full implementation.
The board moved and unanimously approved the meet-and-confer summary and related salary schedules. Trustees then approved the districts special education annual service delivery budget plan (SELPA plan) and the proposed adopted 2025-26 budget as presented at the June 10 public hearing; staff noted that the state budget and implementing trailer bills remain subject to final legislative action but that the district must submit its adopted budget to the County Office of Education by July 1.
Motions on these items were moved by Mr. Yang and seconded in each case; each motion carried by unanimous voice vote. No board member requested further discussion prior to the votes.
