Director of Public Works Mark Pertile presented three bids for the LRIP/TRIP D project, which covers reconstruction of the intersection with Highway 51, full reconstruction to Agawak Road and an overlay down to West Marie Lane. Bids were Pitlik & Wick at $900,019.10; Jake’s Excavating & Landscaping at $1,003,223.10; and American Asphalt at $1,065,916.00. Pertile recommended Pitlik & Wick based on his review.
On a motion by Supervisor Brian Fricke, seconded by Supervisor Erika Petersen, the board accepted the recommendation and awarded the project to Pitlik & Wick; the voice vote carried. The board did not record numeric vote tallies in the minutes.
Next steps: staff will proceed with contract administration and scheduling for the reconstruction work; Pertile provided no further dollar breakdown in the meeting minutes.
