Mesa said contracts under $60,000 will be ratified through the warrant register provided in the board packet; contracts above that threshold will still come to the board. Trustees asked legal‑process questions about ratification and public posting; Mesa confirmed staff had consulted legal counsel on the approach. The board approved the revisions by voice vote.
Trustees asked for a follow‑up review after a year to ensure the threshold and process are working as intended.
