Agenda items also list Contract #30002904 with Peterson Machinery Co. for maintenance, repairs and services to county-owned equipment (term to Jan. 14, 2027) and Contract #30002901 with Daniel P. Van Acker dba Mars Construction for miscellaneous on-call road maintenance (term to Feb. 2, 2027). The Peterson Machinery contract form in the packet includes a payment cap statement: “PAYMENTS TO CONTRACTOR CANNOT EXCEED: $150,000.00.”
The packet contains Final Acceptance Orders indicating the county has accepted completion of two projects. The Main Street Canyonville Safe Routes to School Project (Project #11073) with LTM Incorporated dba Knife River Materials is recorded as accepted on Jan. 26, 2026 with a contract-at-completion total of $3,306,114. The Hinkle Creek Bridge replacement (Project #11068) with Cascade Civil Corp. is recorded as accepted on Dec. 31, 2025 with a contract-at-completion total of $2,350,425. Both acceptance orders note acceptance “as completed according to the contract, with the exception of latent defects and warranty obligations.”

The S.A.
