At its April 13 meeting the Cuyahoga Heights Local Board of Education approved multiple routine consent items and supplemental contracts by roll‑call vote.
The board moved and seconded approval of items called under the consent agenda (items 5a and 6a–6d). Treasurer summarized vendor additions for piano tuning and fueling software, purchase orders over $5,000 (including repairs and instructional materials), an emergency water‑repair invoice, extended‑school‑year summer camp funding for special needs students, reconditioning services and a contract renewal for third‑party HR/claims administration.
The motion carried by a roll‑call vote of 5–0. Later in the meeting the board also approved superintendent items including a corrected in‑lieu transportation payment (adjusting the state‑published rate), donation of an outdated van to the local fire department for training, an MOU to pay announcers at home track meets, consolidated administrative assistant job descriptions, and supplemental coaching contracts for the remainder of the current year and for 2026–27. Board members discussed timing and procurement where applicable; several items referenced specific funding accounts (general fund, permanent improvement technology fund, and billboard revenue fund).
