Our animal service responded to 823 calls for service. Sheriff department had 527 calls for service. 5 of those were missing persons, 1 structure fire where 3 people were housed, and 1 search and rescue." These figures were presented to illustrate demands on emergency services.
What happens next: The MOA will be filed as part of county records and interagency coordination will proceed; the schools' move to in-house policing will require follow-up planning and reporting.
