Warren County commissioners approve a slate of resolutions, review investments and enter executive session

Warren County commissioners approved a series of resolutions Monday, including notices of intent to award public-works contracts, a contract amendment for transit service, termination of a payment-services contract, emergency tree removal at a lift station and an appointment in the county water and sewer department. Commissioners also heard an investment report from Treasurer Randy Coogan and voted to move into executive session to consider an appointment under state law.

The clerk read several add-on items that the board approved by voice vote, including a reappointment to the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Regional Advisory Board, a notice of intent to award the 2026 resurfacing project to John R. Jurgensen, a contract with JTM Smith Construction for the Morrow Woodville Road bridge rehabilitation project and a notice of intent to award the 2026 chip-seal project to Ray Hensley Inc. The board approved Amendment No. 2 to the Valley Transport LLC contract for Warren County Transit Service and Change Order No. 1 to Moody's of Dayton Inc. for a 2025–2026 well redevelopment project.
