Catherine’s House introduces new CEO to Cramerton board; town manager joins homelessness task force

Kathy Gauger, introduced as the new CEO/President of Catherine’s House, presented brochures to the Board of Commissioners on Aug. 5 and described the nonprofit’s work providing transitional housing for women and children.
Gauger told the Board that Town Manager David Pugh is serving on an intergovernmental homeless task force in coordination with Catherine’s House. The Board thanked the presenter and Mayor Will Cauthen expressed the Town’s support for the agency. Larry Rick accepted a signed proclamation earlier in the meeting recognizing Purple Heart recipients on behalf of those honored.
No action was requested or taken; the presentation was informational and the Board voiced support for Catherine’s House’s mission.
