Terra Nova student Gabby Diogi honored as district Student of the Year

Principal Carrie described Diogis leadership roles — ASB president, founding member of a Women in STEM club, organizer of a Filipino American Heritage Month celebration and participant in youth climate and community-cleanup activities — and cited a 4.244 grade point average.
Teachers, student trustees and several board members praised Diogis combination of leadership and service. A student trustee who has been friends with Diogi for years described her as grounded and deserving; Diogi told the board founding the Women in STEM club and seeing its community impact were highlights of her high school experience.
Board members and staff congratulated Diogi and encouraged continued engagement; an in-meeting video about DiMaggio and other agenda materials were available in the board packet.
