Lincoln County Court approves minutes, payments and claims; next meeting set for Feb. 24

During the Jan. 30 special meeting the Lincoln County Court handled routine administrative business. Magistrate Bobby King moved to approve the minutes from the Jan. 13 regular meeting (seconded by Magistrate Dan Gutenson); the motion carried. Magistrate King also moved approval of payment to the McKinney Water District for Draw #3 on the county water-line project (seconded by Magistrate Stanley); the court approved that payment.
The court approved payment of invoices and cash transfers submitted for the special meeting; staff noted the checks will carry a Jan. 27, 2026 date due to software preparation and that the county was operating under an Emergency Declaration during the winter storm. Magistrate Stanley moved to pay claims and approve cash transfers (seconded by Magistrate Dan Gutenson); the motion carried.
Magistrate Dan Gutenson moved to adjourn (seconded by Magistrate Stanley); the court approved the adjournment and set the next regular meeting for Feb. 24, 2026.
