Residents press Richmond commissioners on dangerous intersection and neighborhood parking

Glenda Dryden, a Baker Court resident, said a nearby house has become a college fraternity rental and described persistent parking, noise and safety problems. She said the practice has left her neighborhood feeling like "a parking lot" and asked the city to investigate zoning and parking options; staff said a residential-parking ordinance is not currently in place for that street and city staff are considering options.
Commissioners acknowledged the concerns and directed staff follow-up, including contacting state officials for the traffic study and exploring parking or zoning remedies.
