The Tecumseh City Council met in regular session on Nov. 17, 2025, and approved its consent agenda, which included adoption of the Nov. 3 meeting minutes and payment of city bills totaling $30,957.80. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Council Member Lorie Topp and seconded by Council Member Alicia Brommer; the minutes record the vote as Aye: Beethe, Britt, Brommer, Goracke, Speckmann and Topp, with no nays and the motion carried.
Mayor Jesse Grof presided and City Clerk Janelle Moran recorded the proceedings. At the start of the meeting the mayor read a statement on the availability of the Open Meeting Act, and the council noted no additions or corrections to the posted agenda before taking the consent vote. The consent agenda’s bill list included a payroll entry of $13,444.49 and multiple vendor payments; the minutes list a total of 30957.8 for the approved disbursements.
The meeting record identifies Council Members Brian Britt, Alicia Brommer, Travis Goracke, Tyler Speckmann and Lorie Topp as present and lists Lance Beethe as absent in the roll call, but the vote tally printed in the minutes records Beethe as voting Aye. That discrepancy appears in the official minutes and is noted here as reported in the record.
The meeting was brief; the minutes show the council adjourned at 5:06 p.m. The minutes are signed by City Clerk Janelle Moran and Mayor Jesse Grof.
