No vote adopting the removal occurred on April 13; the council recorded its intent to place the matter on the May agenda for a public hearing and subsequent vote.
The council also confirmed that the village’s sewer system disposal ordinance will remain unchanged. Members asked staff to prepare any statutory references or explanatory materials ahead of the May hearing so residents can review implications before public comment.
The council’s ongoing ordinance review was discussed alongside other agenda items; no citizen comments were recorded at the April meeting.
