Trustee Metzger asked about the timeline for beginning work on the board goals identified in the plan. Tompkins said the Board will include the goals and related discussion on monthly meeting agendas so progress can be reviewed regularly. Administrator Patrick Brown said staff will bring follow-up items as needed, including budget or census information tied to implementation.
No formal action was taken on the strategic plan at the Jan. 13 meeting. The Board's next meeting is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2026, when staff may return with implementation items or proposed ordinances tied to the plan.
