Chairman Gregory Brodeur opened a public hearing on the Lennon Road Redevelopment Brownfield Plan at 5:31 p.m. on June 18. Dr. Brian Boggs provided background information about the proposed redevelopment and what the Brownfield Plan would cover under Act 381 of 1996.
Commissioners Holzhausen and Shepard commented during the hearing. No members of the public spoke during the hearing, and Chairman Brodeur closed the hearing at 5:35 p.m. The board then voted to table Resolution 25-06-08, which would have approved a Brownfield Plan for Lennon Road; the motion to table was made by Commissioner Howard and seconded by Commissioner Shepard and carried on a 6-0 roll call vote.
The hearing record also lists two towing businesses in relation to a towing RFP on the meeting docket: Joe Audia of Joe's Body Shop in Perry and Dean Gaffner of Gaffner Towing. The tabling preserves further review of the Brownfield Plan before the board takes final action.
