Parsons said the current plan maps to about 18 homes for the initial build but includes room for later expansion. She said the company aims to complete the funded scope before the 2026 ARPA deadline and that permits and construction will move quickly once started.
A supervisor raised concerns about past subcontractor performance on similar projects, citing communication and cleanup problems; Parsons said the company will ensure better subcontractor oversight and named Mike Baker as the project operations lead. County road staff offered to meet with any project consultants during their permit review to reduce permit-review time.
Supervisors asked for clarity on the service area map; Parsons said the locations are the same areas identified in the 2020 planning discussions and that the presentation here was a different format of the same footprint.
