Minutes and consent agenda: The committee approved the minutes from the Feb. 25, 2026 meeting (motion moved by Marie, seconded by Amy) and unanimously passed the consent agenda, which included athletic stipends, appointments (Naomi Pelletier as a transportation bus driver; Caitlin Berry as an EdTech 2; Lauren Ween as a Biddeford High School resource teacher; Christopher Giordano as a BIS behavioral EdTech) and a transfer (Stacy Hand to the district IEP coordinator).
Calendar: The committee took the first reading of the draft 2026–27 school calendar and approved the first reading unanimously after Superintendent Ray reviewed staff return dates, student early‑release scheduling and constraints tied to the vocational center calendar.
Policy second readings and certifications: The board held unanimous second‑reading votes on school committee member freedom of access training (certification of completion), revisions to remote participation in meetings, rules of order, a policy on pregnant students and administrative procedures on questioning and searches of students. The chair called each vote unanimous.
Adjournment: The committee heard no public participation and concluded the meeting with a unanimous motion to adjourn.
