Council President Bucci told members that a future amendment to bulk waste collection rules is currently with the solicitor for review. A proposed increase in tax map revision fees for subdivided properties is pending input from the Planning Board solicitor, and changes to the road opening ordinance fees are planned for adoption in 2026.
No ordinance was adopted during the Jan. 20 work session; the comments reflect the status of reviews and expected next steps. Council members did not provide detailed fee schedules or dollar amounts at the meeting; council staff and the solicitors will complete reviews and return formal ordinances to be introduced and adopted in subsequent meetings.
The council also noted an ad hoc committee working on regulations regarding keeping of chickens will send materials to the solicitor for review.
