The board voted to approve a new Dean of Students job description and agreed to remove a sentence that had incorrectly said the dean "will also serve as the athletic and activities director," clarifying the district can separate the athletic director and dean roles but that one person could still hold both positions if chosen.
Members also approved an updated SPED paraprofessional job description, changing wording under the job goal from singular "pupil" to "pupils / pupils" to reflect work with multiple students.
The board authorized hourly contracted work by Dr. Robert Allen to assist with revisions to the fiscal year 2026 budget and finalization of the proposed fiscal year 2027 budget.
Other approved items included updating authorized check signers with a name change, adopting the 2026–27 board work calendars, and approving supplemental reading materials for the elementary school.
Each motion was moved, seconded and passed with no recorded opposition. Several items will return to future agendas only for implementation follow-up or to receive audit presentations as noted by staff.
