The applicant’s representative, Matus Arias, told the commission the ADU is intended for owner occupancy, will minimize traffic and will be compatible with the main house in materials and scale. Commissioners asked about siding, setbacks and parking; staff and the applicant confirmed the ADU will comply with required setbacks and provide on‑site parking.
The motion to approve ordinance 2026‑13 carried on roll call with recorded yes votes.
