Commissioners expressed concern about overall height and massing relative to neighboring houses but recommended planting mature landscaping and, where feasible, parkway trees to soften the new contemporary house. The commission moved to approve the certificate of appropriateness "as close to the colored rendering as possible" with addition of a north-side bedroom egress window and the motion passed by roll call.
