Cache County Council elects Sandi Goodlander as chair, Kathryn Beus as vice chair

The Cache County Council on Jan. 13 voted to appoint Sandi Goodlander as chair and Kathryn Beus as vice chair.
Vice Chair Kathryn Beus moved to appoint Sandi Goodlander as chair; Councilmember David Erickson seconded the motion. The Council recorded the motion as passing with six ayes. Later, Councilmember Mark Hurd moved to appoint Kathryn Beus as vice chair; Chair Goodlander seconded that motion, and it also passed with six ayes.
The votes followed procedural approval of the meeting agenda and minutes earlier in the session. Councilmembers present for the votes included David Erickson, Kathryn Beus, Nolan Gunnell, Sandi Goodlander, Keegan Garrity and Mark Hurd.
The Council adjourned after routine business; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
