County approves $384,607 HVAC pay app, $7,997 Badger Trail payment, a $400,000 Enhance Iowa grant and a road contract

On April 23 the Webster County Board authorized multiple project payments and agreements.
The board approved Pay App No.12 in the amount of $384,607.50 to Woodruff Construction LLC for the Webster County HVAC Project. It also approved Pay Application #7 of $7,997.16 to Wicks Construction for work on the Badger Trail project, the latter on recommendation of Conservation Director Matt Cosgrove.
In separate action the board approved an agreement with the Enhance Iowa Board for a joint Community Attraction and Tourism grant with the City of Fort Dodge in the amount of $400,000 and authorized the Conservation Director to sign the agreement.
The board also approved RESOLUTION NO. 2024-14, authorizing a contract with Peterson Contractors, Inc. for Project LFM-2023—7X-94 and authorized County Engineer Jamie Johll to sign the contract documents. All motions carried unanimously.
Contract documents, pay applications and grant paperwork are on file in the Auditor’s Office or the respective project files.
