Webster County board unanimously adopts FY2024–25 budget

The Webster County Board of Supervisors adopted the county’s fiscal year 2024–25 budget on April 23, 2024, voting unanimously to approve RESOLUTION NO. 2024-15.
The board opened a public hearing on the proposed budget; no oral or written comments were offered. Moved by Supervisor Thode and seconded by Supervisor Campbell, the resolution passed with all five supervisors—Campbell, Carlson, Conrad, Hayek and Thode—voting aye.
County officials said the adopted budget will govern county expenditures for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024. The resolution and the confirmed budget document are on file in the Auditor’s Office and posted to the county’s website per routine practice.
The vote concluded an agenda that included routine personnel and operating items that the board handled earlier under a consent agenda. The board adjourned after allowing claims later in the meeting.
