The Village of Ashwaubenon Plan Commission on April 9 approved a certified survey map by Titletown Development LLC to combine several residential parcels on Brookwood Drive between Marley Lane and Horry Lane and to record a small public dedication to resolve discrepancies in legal descriptions.
Village staff presented the CSM as a straightforward lot consolidation. Aaron Popkey, who identified himself and said he was speaking on the applicant’s behalf, told commissioners the consolidation is primarily a procedural step to enable future development options and that the applicant will return with a concept when prepared. Commissioners asked about occupancy of nearby townhomes and Titletown Flats; Popkey said the townhomes are essentially sold and the Titletown Flats are about 98–99% occupied.
Staff recommended two conditions of approval: update the Plan Commission approval signatory to the community development director and require Brown County Planning Commission approval for any revisions. A motion to approve the CSM with staff conditions carried by voice vote.
Next steps: The applicant may return with a development concept; recordation and any revisions will follow Brown County review and fulfillment of staff conditions.
