BROOKE COUNTY SCHOOLS — At a board meeting, members approved asking staff to present two sample 2026-27 academic calendars to building principals for a final selection, the superintendent said.
Superintendent Dr. Crook told the board the district provided "two sample calendars" to schools and that, as is the usual practice, building principals and staffs will vote on which calendar (including professional development and other listed items) they prefer. "Then they make a choice when we bring a final calendar to the board of education," Dr. Crook said.
