Ms. Kramer, program manager for SEDA-COG’s Community Revitalization Program, briefed the board on a coordinated greenway and trail planning effort spanning four counties and aimed at advancing regional recreational connectivity.
Kramer said SEDA-COG has secured a $398,000 budget allocation to support planning. She told the board SEDA-COG will provide planning services at no cost to participating counties; each county will later be asked to approve a resolution authorizing participation in the project.
The proposal focuses on trail, greenway and recreational connectivity across Columbia, Montour, Northumberland and Snyder counties. No county-level fiscal commitments were requested during the Feb. 12 presentation. The board took the presentation for consideration; minutes do not record a vote on a resolution at this meeting.
