Lodi district launches community survey, outlines solar project and upcoming events

On facilities, the district reported an ongoing solar project across all five district buildings. Work began over spring break with drilling and rooftop safety measures; the district’s stated goal is to substantially complete the project by June 30, weather permitting. The administrator said some processes remain to be completed as the district works through approvals and logistics.
The district also announced community events and public‑service items: National Drug Take Back Day, Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lodi EMS Garage (715 Main Street); a Rotary Club awards event recognizing staff April 19; and a tentative graduation commencement on Sunday, May 31 at Lodi Stadium around 1:00 p.m.
