Stilwell council tables proposed safety course that would have paid staff up to $650

Employees who completed the course and passed a specified test would have been paid in a separate check with taxes and retirement withheld: $650 for full-time employees, $600 for volunteer firefighters who are not full-time city employees, and $250 for part-time employees who had worked at least 24 hours per week for the prior 90 days. Payment availability was proposed for Nov. 24, 2025.
