The Stilwell Kiwanis Club pledged $5,000 toward the unit; the council approved the purchase with a city expenditure of $4,521.95 charged to Capital Improvement ' Fire Department equipment (Acct# 20-06-645300). The council noted no budget adjustment was required for the purchase.
For public-works operations, the council authorized renting a track hoe and a dump truck for the Street Department to clear the Industrial Park Tract on South Paul Mead Road for up to $20,000.
The council also authorized payment of Pay Application #1 to Cook Consulting LLC for $72,938.94, charged to Federal Grants Two (Second Street) - Street Construction Acct# 60-12-645303.
