Council member Gregg Yunko moved to approve the purchase and repair of the eight streetlights; C. Truitt seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Yunko also raised a dangerous tree on Kemmerer that the borough said needed removal before it fell. He moved to approve a $850 contract with Davis Tree to remove the tree; C. Truitt seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The council did not provide vendor details for the streetlight purchase beyond a motion to approve replacing the eight lights. Council members also discussed the operational strain on winter maintenance but did not set a new snow-removal policy at the meeting.
