Pickerington board approves technology contract and a nearly $1 million GMP amendment for Dyle renovation

Administrators said the district solicited multiple bids and chose the vendor that provided the required package and subsidy eligibility.
Separately, the board approved GMP 2 for the Dyle renovation, described as outside work that includes earthwork for a north-side bus-lane roadway connection, playground expansion and kindergarten retrofit. Administration presented GMP 1 (internal work) at $721,578 and GMP 2 at $999,972; together they form the project's all-in price funded from building funds tied to the 2022 bond.
Board members confirmed these contracts are not paid from the general fund and approved the consent motions by roll call.
What happens next: The technology contract takes effect July 1, 2026, and construction on the Dyle exterior and playground work will proceed under the amended GMP funded from building funds tied to the bond program.
