Tulsa Public Schools approves wide-ranging consent agenda, including technology, curriculum and safety purchases

At its Jan. 12 meeting the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education approved a broad consent agenda that included routine field trips, vendor agreements, curriculum purchases, IT and safety systems contracts, staffing approvals, and a renewal of an Opioid Abatement Grant.
Consent‑agenda approvals included an agreement with the University of Tulsa to provide the venue for Will Rogers High School’s JROTC Military Ball; an increase to a previously approved Lakeshore Learning contract; purchases of literacy materials from Scholastic Inc.; implementation and project management services from Tyler Technologies for the Munis platform; and renewal of continuous monitoring software from ThirdLine, Inc. The board also approved a Presidio next‑generation firewall and web‑filtering solution and a pricing agreement with TES Productions, Inc. for sound‑system replacement and service.
Teaching and Learning items included approval of course‑of‑study revisions for the 2026–27 school year and renewal of an Opioid Abatement Grant from the City of Tulsa and the Oklahoma Opioid Abatement Board to provide services and support resources for students and families. Talent Management matters approved on the consent agenda included routine staffing actions, adjunct teacher recognitions, and amendments to university practicum placements.
The board accepted Guardrails 2 reports and recognized several booster clubs and PTAs for sanctioning under Board Policy 5707 for the 2025‑26 fiscal year. These consent items were taken as a block and approved by unanimous vote. The approvals enable ongoing operations, curriculum updates, and several planned safety and technology upgrades across district facilities.
