President Trace of the Mechanicsburg Fire Department reported 465 calls in 2025 and said the department received a Local Share Account Grant that will be applied toward the new fire station; he also noted that commemorative bricks remain available for purchase to support the project.
Chief Glenny also praised the prompt resolution of a minor construction-site signage issue raised later in the meeting. The council discussed enforcement logistics but did not record a finalized enforcement procedure or an effective start date for CSO enforcement in the segments covering the discussion.
