Member Sally Neiderhiser moved to approve the report and Member Star Little seconded. The motion passed 9–0. Council did not attach additional directives or specific budget appropriations to the approval during the meeting; Manager Hart and President Tarlecki emphasized the plan’s flexibility and future review schedule.
The approval establishes the 2040 report as the borough’s current guiding document for long-range projects. Next steps noted at the meeting include periodic review of priorities and posting the approved plan online for public access.
