Brooke County posts poll-worker training and adds Saturday lab appointments at health department

The last day to register to vote is April 21, 2026. Early voting is scheduled April 29–May 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., including both Saturdays. The minutes also say a Secretary of State representative, Sarah Smith, will be at the courthouse on April 15 from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. to answer voting questions.
Separately, Brooke County Health Department Administrator Mike Bolen announced the department will begin offering Saturday morning appointments for pre-appointment lab work.
