Clerks’ group‑backed bill to modernize records language advances out of committee

She said the association coordinated with the secretary of state's office and state archivists to address preservation and certification issues.
After brief questions about differing case management systems among clerks, the sponsor moved to report SB 421 favorably, and the committee carried that motion without objection.
