The North Allegheny School Board voted April 15 to approve multiple human resources actions, including appointing Heather Hibner as assistant superintendent for secondary education and Kelly McKean as coordinator of special education and gifted education.
Dr. Gibbs highlighted the two appointments as key items in the HR folder and said the board was "very excited" about the selections. Heather Hibner said she was "completely honored to shift into this new position and to continue to serve the district." Kelly McKean thanked the board and said she was "dedicated and cannot wait to get in there and just start supporting families and students and staff."
The HR slate included other standard personnel items (resignations, wage/status changes, supplemental contracts, leaves), and the board approved all HR items unanimously.
