The City of Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency approved an owner participation agreement on April 15 that provides $95,000 toward exterior and public‑facing improvements for Alley Cat LLC’s project north of City Hall.
Dina Babsky presented the proposal and introduced Michelle Dell and Michelle Sandler, who described plans for roughly 14,000 square feet of new space in addition to an existing 10,000‑square‑foot building. The owners said the venue will host community events and corporate gatherings and expected the project to improve safety and vibrancy along Main Street.
Council members praised the owners’ long experience in hospitality. Councilwoman Diaz moved to approve the item and the chair announced the motion passed on a voice vote.
The RDA participation is meant to leverage the owners’ larger investment (staff recorded total owner investment at over $3,000,000). The presentation set an estimated start of work within weeks and an operational milestone referenced as October 15 for a public‑facing activation.
