Jared Moser, who presented the item, described the program as local and currently operating in Omaha/Council Bluffs, Lincoln and Sioux City. He said families take a photo of receipts, choose the beneficiary building and funds are deposited monthly; there is a $2.50 monthly deposit fee.
Board members said the program is low effort and could help local schools raise funds. The board voted to approve the partnership and deposit authorization.
