Baltimore Village amends pool rates, council adopts updated party packages by emergency vote

Members agreed the ordinance should be amended to reflect the new party sections and then suspended the normal three‑reading requirement to adopt the amendment as an emergency measure so the change would take effect before busy summer dates. The suspension and emergency adoption carried on roll call with multiple yes votes recorded.
The council also discussed public notice: staff said the updated rates and forms would be posted on the village website and social media after council action.
Next steps: staff will update the ordinance paperwork, tweak the registration form as needed, and publish the new party packages and lifeguard requirements online.
