Board approves appeal allowing Keith Bushey to live at 310 14th Avenue

The Green Bay Offender Residency board approved an appeal by Keith Bushey to live at 310 14th Avenue, the chair announced after a brief review of documentation and a voice vote.

Board members began by confirming Bushey currently resides at the address and asked him to present supporting paperwork. Bushey provided treatment documentation and a written plan dated March 9 and said he is enrolled in a 90-day program that he began in February and is roughly halfway through. "I've been going through a lot of, like, self discovery, problem solving, how to deal with emotional stress so far," Bushey told the board.

The chair asked whether the NW Community Clinic provided the treatment and whether sessions were group or individual; Bushey said the program is led by a provider named Shelly, sessions are individual, last about an hour once a week and are scheduled for the 90-day program. He also told the board he works at AK Pizza Crust and has been employed there since November.

After questions from the board, a member moved to approve Bushey's address-specific request and another member seconded. The board approved the motion by voice vote; the chair told Bushey, "You're good to live and stay at the 310 14th Avenue Upper," and reminded him that if he later moves from that location he will need to return to the board for approval.

The chair also confirmed routine business: the meeting agenda and the minutes from the Feb. 18 meeting were approved by voice vote earlier in the session. The chair noted the next meeting is scheduled for April 15 and a staff member said an item on that agenda will be listed as informational because an applicant withdrew a previous application.

The meeting ended after a motion to adjourn passed by voice vote.
