Laguna Niguel staff outline Title 7 recodification to align vehicle, right-of-way rules with state standards

Assistant City Manager Martin presented a comprehensive recodification of Title 7 of the Laguna Niguel Municipal Code, saying the update is meant to bring the city's highways, right-of-way and vehicle rules into alignment with current state law and modern editorial standards. “This project aims to complete a comprehensive update to the city's municipal code since it hasn't been updated since original adoption, resulting in a code that is inconsistent and outdated with current state law and actual city practices as well as in meeting modern code formatting and editorial standards,” Martin said.
