- Authorization to pay bills: Councilman Murphy moved to pay the bills as presented; the motion carried on a voice vote.
- Ordinance 965 (UCC Board of Appeals): Council adopted Ordinance 965 to adopt revisions related to the Uniform Construction Code and county-based board of appeals; staff described the changes as administrative clarifications and the ordinance was adopted by voice vote.
- CDBG award — 300 block of Union Street: Council awarded Reamstown Excavating Inc. the contract for $251,831 for curb, sidewalk and paving work (see separate coverage).
- PSAB representatives: Heather was nominated and approved as the borough’s primary voting representative to the PSAB conference; Jean was approved as alternate.
- Special events: Council approved the Memorial Day Parade for May 24, 2026, and voted to waive the borough's estimated event cost of $1,591. The Ashley Tabernacle block party (June 20), a Mount Bethel Cemetery extension event and the Riverfest Lighting of the Piers (June 28, contingent on PennDOT approvals where required) were all approved.
- Adjournment: The council adjourned at 8:21 PM and moved to an executive session to discuss a personnel matter.
