Board members voted unanimously to add a new general-fund line, 101-000-503.00, "Federal Grant —6 Elections," and to reallocate child-care funds: $4,000 moved to RDSS Travel/Expense and $3,000 moved to CCF Staff Training. The board also approved increases to Courthouse Grounds utility lines: a $7,000 increase to the Mich-Con gas budget line and a $13,000 increase to the electric budget line. Those adjustments were made as amendments to the affected fund budgets.
The board reviewed the June 2025 expenditure report, which lists a Grand Total of $1,933,337.65 across all funds and provides detailed subtotals (for example, combined General Fund payroll and expenses listed as $456,762.46). The Claims and Audit Docket for July 22, 2025 was presented in the amount of $69,548.28; the board approved the docket by roll call.
All motions on the consent calendar and related budget amendments passed on roll-call votes with Commissioners Breaugh, Handrich, Bondar, McCauley and Varner recorded as voting yes.
