Following nominations, speaker 4 nominated Jorgensen for chair and speaker 3 seconded; with no further nominations the committee affirmed her selection. For vice chair, nominations concluded with Roger Tobler confirmed as vice chair.
The committee then approved the December minutes after a motion from speaker 3 and a second from speaker 6; the vote was recorded as unanimous. The leadership and procedural actions clear the way for the committee to consider substantive agenda items later in the meeting, including the presentation of the city’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and an auditor’s report on fiscal year 2024.
