The South Middleton School District board approved its consent agenda (Items 10a through 10h) in a single block motion, which passed by unanimous roll-call vote after no member asked to remove items for separate consideration.
Earlier in the meeting Mr. Baker reported that seven students from an AP government class taught by Ms. Bozart were selected in a statewide contest and "will be formally recognized and receive congratulations" at the state capital on Monday, April 14. Mr. Baker offered congratulations to the students.
Superintendent Dr. O'Donnell and others also highlighted winter athletics achievements, noting district champions, individual medalists and qualifiers who advanced to regional competition. Board members praised staff and coaches for student accomplishments.
Formal motions recorded in the transcript included approval of the meeting agenda and approval of the March 2, 2026 minutes; both motions passed by unanimous roll-call vote. The board adjourned the public session after a brief break to move into an executive session on personnel matters.
