Cameron County pledges to back Mead Foundation challenge grant and approves $22,343 for recreation center network upgrades

Separately, the board approved payment to ACS of $22,343.26 from Act 13 funds to provide network updates and equipment for the recreation center and Memorial Hall. Chair (S1) said the funds will support free public access to the internet, conferencing systems for a shared workspace and "also a private telehealth space for the community to utilize." The item was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
