Creaves responded that timing was right for him to serve on the Culture and Leisure Board and said he hoped to bring experience from the private and federal sectors to local programming.
A motion to recommend Creaves to the City Council for interview was moved, seconded and approved; staff said they expect to place him on a council agenda in mid‑April if schedules permit or in May if calendars are full.
