At its March 10 session the Navajo County Board of Supervisors approved several routine and formal actions by voice vote.
Consent agenda: The board moved and unanimously approved the consent agenda, which included routine administrative items.
Public works contracts: Public Works recommended awarding materials contracts to four vendors (DynaRock LLC; Perkins Agrica/Perkins Cinders; and Shuck Development) to lock pricing and provide flexibility for road maintenance materials; the board approved the award after a motion and voice vote.
Proclamations: The board adopted a proclamation recognizing March as National Nutrition Month in honor of the county WIC team and approved a proclamation commemorating Joseph City’s sesquicentennial (150th anniversary) and its Founders Day events.
Liquor licenses: After two staff presentations confirming departmental approvals and the required 20-day posting, the board approved two 010 (beer-and-wine) retail liquor licenses for Patricia Jean White, agent for Dollar General, for locations at 8086 White Mountain Lake Road and at Lone Pine Dam Road. Amanda Silverhorn reported that the sheriff, treasurer, health department and planning had all returned approvals for both applications; no public comment was received on either application.
Votes recorded in the transcript were by voice and recorded as unanimous "aye." No roll-call tallies with individual supervisor votes were provided in the meeting transcript.
